Everything must have its own place so that everything runs smoothly. We’re not talking about the legions on a battlefield, but about your food in the fridge. The temperature in the refrigerator is not exactly the same everywhere, and that’s good, because different foods require different refrigerations.
If you want to increase the life of your reserves, here is the perfect placement:
- at the top: the heat tends to rise, and this is the warmest area of the refrigerator. It’s perfect for dairy products (cheese and yogurt) and eggs. Just below, you can put the already processed foods (such as sauces), but also meats and sausages;
- the center is the area where reigns the temperature of your choice (which should be 5 °C): Place here fresh meat and fish;
- bottom: The coldest area is the ideal place for raw fruits and vegetables, while the door is suitable to accommodate beverages (wine, beer, fruit juice and so on), but also conserves and condiments – pickles and sauces
